A prayer for evangelism and growth in the Church in Wales

God of pilgrims,

of those who search for you,

and of those yet to see the promise of your glory:

be for us all anew this day

the home that we have hiraeth for,

the cynghanedd of the stories we tell about you,

and the newness of a diwygiad

that forges new paths

for those wearied by too well-worn ways;

that your Pentecost Church

may be raised up across this pilgrim’s land

in prayer and praise

for service and salvation;

through him who followed your call

and calls us still,

even Christ, our journey’s Friend.
